Children’s Ministry
Our children's formation is rooted in Scripture, liturgy, the sacraments, and sacred music. The teaching is substantive but joyful, because children learn best when they encounter the beauty at the heart of the faith.
Children are welcome in the worship and life of our parish. From their earliest years, we help them discover the story of God’s love, grow in prayer, and form friendships in a caring church community.
Ways to Grow in Faith
- Sunday School. Bible-based teaching helps children explore Scripture and grow in faith alongside others their age. Visitors are always welcome.
- Children’s Chapel. During Sunday worship, children hear God’s Word and share in a child-friendly liturgy before rejoining their families for Communion.
- Nursery Care. Our nursery offers a welcoming place for our youngest children while their parents take part in worship.
- Crossroads. Stories, songs, crafts, and games help children explore their faith and build friendships following our Wednesday community dinner.
- Keeping the Feast. Our children’s cooking club brings faith, food, and friendship together through shared cooking and learning.
- Vacation Bible School. Summer activities invite children to discover Bible stories through teaching, creativity, play, and time together.
- Baptismal Preparation. Clergy walk with families as they prepare to present a child for baptism and grow in the worshiping life of the parish. Learn about baptism and upcoming dates.
All Sunday School teachers and volunteers complete Safe Church training and a background check. Offerings vary through the year; explore our Events page for current opportunities.
